Recognised for her leadership and contribution to the accounting profession, Rachel was awarded the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ) Young Regional Advocate for Auckland and Northland in 2020.
With over 16 years of experience across accounting, tax, risk, and compliance, Rachel’s professional background spans leading organisations such as Sovereign, AIA, the Commonwealth Bank of Australia, and Inland Revenue.
Her entrepreneurial journey extends beyond Simply Tax — she also founded Ysquared Education and Trusted AML, ventures dedicated to empowering professionals and strengthening New Zealand’s compliance landscape.
A specialist in both domestic and international taxation, Rachel provides strategic tax planning, designs tax-efficient business frameworks, advises on Double Tax Agreements (DTA), and represents clients in complex IRD tax disputes.
